This week’s ride is the Alloway loop ride, 36.2long.

The ride goes west along Quay St then onto Maryborough St, right onto Maynard and left onto Ritchie St. then it’s a quick left-right into Claytons Road which we follow all the way until we turn left onto Wises Rd which takes us to Goodwood Rd where we do a left then a right onto Paynes Rd. We follow this road all the way to the end then take a left onto Burns Road to link up to Dr. May Crossing Road where we head left back to town via. Chards Rd and McCathy St.

We should be back at Pacific Coffee around 8.40am

The weather for Sunday is mostly sunny with temps between 12-25 degrees. Wind will be from the South up to 18km/h, so a good tailwind home!!. There is a 11% chance of rain when we will be riding, but no much predicted.

The 3 R’s, Rose, Robbie and Rhianna, rolled out this morning, opting for an alternative Alloway loop instead of Elliott Heads to dodge those early headwinds 🌬️

A cracking morning for it with quiet roads and good company, and yes, Rhianna was the one finally making a return after a couple of years just watching the weekly ride emails go out 😅

The real highlight? Rose’s Afghan chocolate biscuits, which were very well received at Allowicious at the finish 🍪

We were joined there by Denise and the two Jo’s, turning it into a great post-ride catch-up with plenty of laughs.

Always good to be back, hopefully not another two years until the next one! 🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️

An update from Bicycle Queensland around proposed legislative amendments, this time with information around what makes an ebike compliant.

Like the CEO of Bicycle Queensland, you may find that your legal e-bike will inadvertently become illegal with the current drafting if amendments are passed. 😬
