What a fantastic day!
A huge thank you to the Multicultural Community Centre and the Australian Department of Home Affairs for delivering the outstanding Multicultural Soccer Festival 2026. You created more than a tournament — you built a space where communities came together through the universal language of sport.
Football has a way of breaking barriers, and this festival was a shining example of unity in diversity. Every nation on the field helped make Queensland and Australia stronger.
Special congratulations to Team Bangladesh .
On our historic debut, our boys played with pride, passion, determination, and true sportsmanship. Win or lose, you represented our community with heart. You’ve made every Bangladeshi in Brisbane incredibly proud.
Thank you to our players, coaches, volunteers, supporters, and every family who turned up in red and green. Your energy, your chants, your belief on the sidelines — that’s what made the atmosphere unforgettable.
Together, we celebrated more than goals. We celebrated inclusion, friendship, respect, and the rich multicultural spirit that defines us.
Well done to every participating nation, and once again, my sincere thanks to the organising committee for a memorable and successful event.
