What an amazing day! Feeling so happy to be elected as a member of the Asia Pacific Region Scout Committee. It will be an honour to be part of the leadership team that serves more than 37 million scouts in the Region. Thank you my husband and family, Scouts Australia for the nomination as candidate, and to every one of my Scouting friends who has supported and mentored me in my leadership journey. It has been 20 years since I attend my first World Scout Youth Forum in Tunisia, and I only dreamed of being able to achieve this opportunity, now it is a reality. I could not have achieved this without everyone’s encouragement and support. Thank you!!! The journey is just beginning.

Scouting friends- today I ask for your support and opportunity to serve and be a part of the leadership team of the APR region. Here are my top five priorities to take our Region forward:
1. Growth – Relevant, inclusive, and empowering youth programs.
2. Good Governance – Transparent, efficient, and accountable processes.
3. Youth Empowerment – Championing youth voices at every level.
4. Sustainable Practices – Decisions that serve today’s Scouts and tomorrow’s world.
5. Strength through Support – Ensuring no NSO is left behind.

Agoonoree 2025- always a highlight for me being able to visit this special Scouting event, running now for over 40 years. The theme this year is On Safari! 🦁🌿
From 20–26 September 2025, Scouts and Guides from across Queensland have gathered at Baden-Powell Park, Samford for a week of camping, connection, and community at Agoonoree 2025.
This year’s theme is “On Safari” – a journey of discovery, friendship, and fun in the great outdoors. 🏕️✨
Agoonoree is a truly special event where Scouts and Guides team up to support children with additional needs, giving them the chance to experience the joy of Scouting and Guiding. It’s about inclusion, leadership, and making lifelong memories. I also had the privilege of being able to attend the Sponsors thank you event- to thank all the generous sponsors who help to ensure our guests with additional needs can attend the event at no charge, and provide their families and carers with much appreciated respite.

Great to support the APR Youth Forum online preliminary session!
It was energising to connect with passionate young leaders across the region as we:
✅ Reviewed the Youth Engagement Sub-Committee report
📘 Discussed the Triennial Plan and its exciting direction
📣 Shared a call to action for youth involvement and leadership
🤝 Took time to connect, collaborate, and prepare for the face-to-face event in Taiwan next month
Looking forward to continuing the momentum and seeing everyone in person soon!

What an incredible day spent with our Cub Scouts — full of laughter, learning, and scouting spirit! From games and challenges to teamwork and creativity, it was a perfect showcase of what Scouting is all about.
Huge thanks to all the leaders, volunteers, and families who make days like this so special

Excited to be part of the planning team working with an amazing team of young leaders to support the 11th Asia-Pacific Region Youth Forum which will run from 6–9 October 2025 at Chientan Youth Activity Centre, Taipei, Taiwan.

With 140+ young leaders from 28 NSOs. This is a defining moment for young people to lead boldly, spark meaningful change, and shape the future of Scouting
