The $5000 on Allied Heath Services for Veterans has raised a lot of concerns among the Veteran community.

So, let’s have that discussion.

Tuesday, 2nd of June at 7pm (1900h), we will be hosting a live webinar to discuss these proposed changes and what it means for veterans and Defence personnel who are considering leaving or have submitted their discharge.

We are looking forward to seeing you all there!

Not knowing what entitlements and support are available to you after Defence could literally be costing you THOUSANDS.

The reality is, many veterans leave the military with little to no guidance on:
• DVA claims
• Healthcare support
• Rehabilitation services
• Mental health support
• Allied health access
• Payments and entitlements
• Transition assistance

And because the systems are so complicated and overwhelming, a lot of veterans simply miss out on support they’re entitled to.

That’s not your fault.

Sometimes one conversation can completely change the direction of someone’s transition.

If you’re unsure whether you’re receiving all the support available to you, send us a DM for a 15-minute audit call.

You may be entitled to more support than you realise.

That loss of structure can quickly turn into:
• Feeling lost
• Lack of motivation
• Isolation
• Frustration
• Feeling like you’ve lost part of yourself

The good news?

Routine can be rebuilt.

Not overnight.
Not perfectly.
But step by step.

You do not need to have your whole life figured out right now.

You just need momentum.

If you’re struggling with routine or feeling stuck after Defence, send us a DM. We’re here to help.

One minute you have structure, routine, purpose, and a strong support network around you… then suddenly you’re expected to navigate civilian life on your own.

On top of that, the systems can feel incredibly complicated and overwhelming.

DVA.
Medical.
Claims.
Physio, EP, Psych etc etc.
Entitlements, benefits.
Support services.
(the list goes on)

How are you supposed to know if you’re actually receiving all the support you’re entitled to?

The truth is — many veterans are missing out on assistance simply because nobody explained the process properly.

That’s why March Out exists.

If you’d like clarity around what support, entitlements, or services may be available to you, send us a DM for a 15-minute audit call.

We’ll help point you in the right direction and highlight areas you may not even realise you’re eligible for.

You do not have to figure this out alone.

Quick check in for current and former serving members.

Where are you currently at in transition?
- Still serving but thinking about getting out
- Discharging within 12 months
- Recently discharged
- Been out a few years but still adjusting
- Fully settled into civilian life

Also I am curious:
What’s been the biggest challenge after service?

Trying to better understand what veterans are actually struggling with.. not what people assume they are.

The Federal Government have cut funding to Invictus Australia and placed a $5000 cap on using Allied Health Services.

March Out, like many in the veteran community, are angered by these decisions.

We are currently working on how we can best support organisations that do amazing work for veterans and their families.

Having a structured plan prior to separating from defence is critical to ensuring a successful start to civilian life!

We will be dropping the date for our love webinar soon, so be sure to follow and show you what many veterans say is what they wished they had before they got out!

End of week debrief.

There’s been an update from DVA in regard to what they class as a treating Gp. It must be a GP that has been treating for at least 12 months prior to submitting any claims. If your GP doesn’t meet this threshold, then you will be sent to their contracted GP.

A big thank you to everyone who responded to our call for assistance for a veteran in need! You guys are absolute legends!!

If you require any assistance from us, please reach out.
