2026 marks the 10-year anniversary of the inception of Flora 4 Fauna – Australia. What began as a vision to reconnect people with Australia's unique native flora and fauna has grown into a momentum of learning, conservation, biodiversity, and community. 🌏💚🐨

Yet the roots of Flora 4 Fauna run far deeper than most would expect. They can be traced back through decades of experiences, observations, stories, art, culture, mentors, landscapes, and countless encounters with nature across Australia. 🌿🦋🐦

Flora 4 Fauna is the ripened fruit from a tree of knowledge gathering, curiosity, and a growing understanding that people, plants, wildlife, and the environment are all interconnected. Every native plant grown, every habitat restored, every tour, talk, consultation, and conversation has been part of that ongoing journey. 🌱🌳✨

🌿🐦 FROM TALK TO ACTION — BIODIVERSITY IN THE MAKING! 🦋🐝

We had a fantastic day visiting a new client's property on the Darling Downs to undertake a Bushfood & Biodiversity Consultation. It's incredibly rewarding to see people attend our public talks, become inspired, and then put what they've learned into practice on their own properties. 🌿✨

Together, we're designing a landscape that will provide habitat, food, and shelter for birds, bees, butterflies, pollinators, and other wildlife, while also incorporating native Australian bushfoods for people to enjoy. 🐦🐝🦋🍓

Exciting times ahead, and we can't wait to see the finished project come to life. Birds, bees, butterflies, and bushfoods working together to create a true wonder of nature! 🌏💚🌿

🐨🚑 HELP OUR LOCAL WILDLIFE HEROES THIS EOFY! 💚🌏

Every day, dedicated wildlife carers are rescuing, rehabilitating, and caring for Australia's injured, orphaned, and displaced native animals. At the Wildlife Rescue, Rehabilitation and Education Association (WRREA), around 90 animals are in care on any given day, while volunteers travel more than 41,000 kilometres each year to rescue wildlife in need. 🚗🦘🐨

From koalas, platypus, echidnas, bats, birds of prey, and many other native species, to community education and conservation programs, this vital work depends heavily on volunteers, donations, and community support. 🌿🦉🦇

With around 234 koala browse collection trips undertaken each year—often taking seven hours per trip—the ongoing costs of fuel, animal food, medical supplies, transport, and specialised care quickly add up. These dedicated carers give countless hours to ensure Australia's wildlife has a second chance. ❤️🐾

At Flora 4 Fauna – Australia, we are encouraging everyone to help this hardworking local organisation continue its important work rescuing, rehabilitating, and educating the community about our beleaguered native Australian wildlife. 🌏💚🐨
