Some days you don’t want crowds, noise or rushing around — you just want fresh air, quiet views and a really good breakfast ☕🌿

We headed up to Mt Mee for a gentle morning that started at Dahmongah Lookout Park (peaceful views, minimal walking, space to breathe) and finished with breakfast at Pitstop on Mt Mee — relaxed vibes, friendly staff and food that hits the spot.

It was the kind of outing that feels grounding without being boring, and easy without feeling like you stayed home.

✔️ prefer weekday calm
✔️ are heading out solo or with your support person
✔️ need a nervous-system reset

This festive season, I skipped the chaos and chose laughter — and honestly, it was the best decision. Seeing the Hey Felicia - A Drag Queen Musical Christmas Special at The Sit Down Comedy Club Brisbane was loud, joyful, unapologetic, and exactly the kind of night out I didn’t know I needed!

From the cosy, welcoming vibe of the venue to the painfully relatable (in the best way) comedy, it was the kind of show that leaves you with sore cheeks and a lighter heart.
