We are currently undergoing an exciting shift with our structure, programs and strategic focus and are looking forward to re-launching in 2018! Meri Toksave was founded in 2013 by Ayesha Lutschini, Tasman Bain and Courtney Price. Since then we cre

ated, verified and distributed the first and then only country-wide directory of emergency and support services for family and sexual violence and launched a women's rights campaign entitled They Say, We Say to challenge stigma and misinformation about domestic violence. Meri Toksave ("information for women" in Tok Pisin) is a youth-led and non-for-profit anti-gender-based violence initiative for Papua new Guinea. We aim at addressing violence against women in Papua New Guinea through improving information accessibility of rights, services and support for survivors of gender-based violence. We aim at empowering women partnering with men to challenge gender-based violence.
