⭐During our 'Fire and Smoke Alarm Safety’ info session recently, everyone was eager to learn how to protect yourself, your family and your home.

🙏🏻We thank our guest presenter, Peter, of Qld Fire Department, for also explaining changes to smoke alarm laws.

🔥From 1 January 2027, all smoke alarms must be photoelectric and interconnected – so that when one goes off, they will all go off, giving everyone the best chance to escape.

🧯Also make sure your home has fire blankets and extinguishers and never leave a flame unattended.

🚗 Our team members are out and about delivering Winter Hampers to vulnerable members of our community - and what a joy it is to see! 💛

Packed full of beautiful, comforting goodies - from hot chocolate ☕ and coffee, to biscuits 🍪, hearty soups 🍲 and cosy blankets 🧣 each hamper is a little bundle of warmth and care, delivered with friendship and a smile.

Winter can be a difficult time for those facing social isolation or economic hardship, and through these hampers we hope to bring a moment of joy, comfort and a gentle reminder that they are not alone. 🌟

Because no matter how cold the days may get, there is always warmth to be found in community. ✨

At Co.As.It., our multicultural heritage means we deeply value the importance of culture, identity and belonging. Today we stand in respect alongside Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples here in Australia, and Indigenous communities around the world. 🌿
