Our Social Groups were absolutely delighted to come together and celebrate La Festa della Repubblica 🇮🇹 Italian Republic Day - a cornerstone of Italian identity, history and pride. 💚🤍❤️

The vibes were high and the energy was infectious as everyone was immersed in the very best of Italian culture! From wonderful live music and joyful dancing 💃🕺 to the most delicious cuisine 🍝🍷 everyone came together to pay a heartfelt homage to Italy and its rich heritage.

Today is Mabo Day - and the close of National Reconciliation Week. 🌿

We pause to honour Eddie Koiki Mabo, a man of great courage and determination whose tireless fight for justice led to the landmark 1992 High Court decision recognising the land rights of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Mabo Day is a time to reflect on that history, to acknowledge the deep and enduring connection that First Nations peoples have to Country, and to recommit ourselves to the ongoing journey of reconciliation. 🤝

We walk this path with respect, purpose and a genuine desire to listen and learn.
