The Classic Wallabies Indigenous Exchange Facilitating the development of young indigenous leaders both within the community and within their chosen field.

The Eidos Institute has partnered with the Classic Wallabies and Australian Volunteers International (through the Australian Volunteers for International Development (AVID) program) to create and develop the Classic Wallabies Exchange (CWE) Program. The CWE program is a student exchange initiative dedicated to providing Indigenous university students with the opportunity to study abroad and undert

ake a volunteer assignment in an overseas community-based organisation. The focus of the CWE program on academic study and volunteer service in communities will promote career and personal development of the CWE students. To date, 24 indigenous young men and women will have experienced a 6 week tour of South Africa working in Francois Pienaar’s MAD Foundation projects in Hoedspruit, Limpolo.
