Innocent Smiles Brisbane Innocent Smiles has been created from a vision to raise awareness and funds for various charity organisations associated with disadvantaged children.

I (Sameeta Hewa) have always wanted to help children especially those who have been disadvantaged. In July 2016, I visited an Anti-trafficking and Child Abuse Centre in Pattaya, Thailand. I had taken lots of gifts for the children, including stationery, Australian souvenirs, toys etc. and it was amazing to see how well-mannered these children were as they graciously accepted these gifts without pu

shing, fighting or complaining. It was a very uplifting experience to see how these children managed to be content with the very little they had and despite the horrendous experience they had faced. I then decided I could do more to help children like the ones I had just met, and that’s how Innocent Smiles evolved. Currently, this is not a registered organisation but with more momentum and size, the plan is to be registered in the future. I plan to help organisations associated with disadvantaged children such as She Rescue Home (https://www.sherescuehome.org) by holding various functions to raise money. 100% of profits generated from these functions will be donated to these chosen charities.
