🤝 הצופים אוסטרליה במפגש עם השגריר הישראלי

השבוע נציגים מכל שבטי הצופים אוסטרליה לקחו חלק במפגש מיוחד עם השגריר הישראלי באוסטרליה, שעסק בתנועות הנוער הפועלות ברחבי היבשת.
הדיון היה מרתק, מעשיר ופתח פתח לשיתופי פעולה עתידיים בין השגרירות לבין תנועות הנוער — לטובת הקהילה הישראלית והיהודית באוסטרליה.
אנחנו מאמינים שהקשר הזה ימשיך להתחזק ויאפשר תמיכה, ליווי ויוזמות משותפות שיתרמו לדור הצעיר ולחיי הקהילה.📣

השגרירות מזמינה את הקהילה הישראלית לעקוב אחרי ערוצי התקשורת הרשמיים שלה, כדי לקבל עדכונים שוטפים על אירועים, שירותים, פרויקטים ופעילות קהילתית.

הצופים מזמינים אתכם ליום כיף -פסטיבל לכל המשפחה.
ב־23 באוגוסט, שבט עוז בריסביין יחד עם JCCQ מארגנים אירוע קהילתי גדול, חגיגי ומושקע לכל המשפחה.

מה בתוכנית:
🚗 11:00 מכוניות לילדים.
🦎 12:00–13:00 מופע זוחלים
🍭 13:00–14:00 שערות סבתא וברד בחינם (לילדים )
🔫 13:00–15:00 לייזר טאג
-🏁 15:00 סיום האירוע

פלאפל חם, ג’חנון ודוכנים נוספים.

The Israeli Scouts invite you to a Fun Day – A Family Festival!

On August 23rd, Shevet Oz Brisbane, together with JCCQ, is hosting a big, festive, and exciting community event for the whole family.

What’s on the program?

🚗 11:00 – Kids’ Ride-On Cars
🦎 12:00–13:00 – Reptile Show
🍭 13:00–14:00 – Free Fairy Floss & Slushies
for kids
🔫 13:00–15:00 – Laser Tag
🏁 15:00 – Event concludes

Food available all day:
Fresh falafel, jachnun, and additional food stalls.

הבוקר מועדון בר בת‑המצווה של הצופים למד להכיר את ערך ההתנדבות מקרוב.
זו כבר השנה השנייה שהחניכים מגיעים לאתר העירייה, תורמים מזמנם, ומשקיעים מאמץ אמיתי בשמירה על הניקיון ובטיפוח האזור.

איזו גאווה לראות את הדור הצעיר מוביל בעשייה קהילתית, לומד לקחת אחריות, ומשאיר אחריו מקום נקי ויפה יותר לכולנו.

The Israeli Scouts are incredibly proud to be part of Tu B'av party project and to have had the opportunity to collaborate with AUJS QLD along with the support of the QJBD.

Together we were able to create a community event that brought people together, strengthened connections, and showcased the spirit of Queensland’s Jewish youth.

Although our Israeli Scouts kids are still too young to attend the party, we know it won’t be long until they become young Jewish Australian themselves. That’s why we believe it’s so important for all community organisations to get to know one another and collaborate whenever possible — it’s how we help our Queensland community thrive.

A special thank you goes to Maor Gigi,, who managed every aspect of the party on behalf of the Israeli Scouts. His dedication and hard work were a huge part of the event’s success.

And of course, thank you to AUJS for partnering with us and giving us the chance to connect with the next generation of Queensland’s Jewish community.

שלום משפחת שבט עוז! 🇮🇱💙

כחלק מהחזון שלנו לחזק את הקהילה היהודית, שבט עוז גאה לשתף פעולה עם AUJS Queensland בערב מיוחד לכבוד ט"ו באב – מפגש חברתי ואפטר פארטי לצעירים.

האירוע מיועד לצעירים יהודים בגילאי 18–30, במטרה להכיר אנשים חדשים, ליצור חברויות חדשות ולחזק את הקהילה שלנו.

רוב החניכים שלנו עדיין צעירים מדי להשתתף, אבל לרבים מכם יש אחים גדולים, בני דודים, חברים או מכרים בגיל המתאים.

אם אתם מכירים מישהו או מישהי בגילאי 18–30, נשמח מאוד אם תשתפו איתם את ההזמנה. כל חיבור חדש מחזק את הקהילה שלנו. ❤️

Our first community on the trail hike visited Mt Glorious today!

We had fun, we had rain, we enjoyed beautiful nature, and even learned a few new things along the way.

A big thank‑you to Pazit for leading us on the trail with so much care and good energy.
It was a wonderful day out together.

Looking for a fun family activity for the upcoming school holidays?

Come enjoy a relaxed day outdoors, meet other families, and soak up some fresh air together.
On Sunday, 28 June, we’ll head out at 11:00 for a family‑friendly day that includes:
• Family picnic — BYO
• A nature walk suitable for all ages

The trail is easy, kid‑friendly, and about 4 km long.
⏱ We’ll stop along the way for a lunch break — please bring a sandwich and some snacks for the midday rest.

For security reasons, the exact location will be shared with registered participants only.

What an amazing day at the community event today 💛

The kids dove into their archaeological adventure, searching for “findings” and matching them to the right place on the historical timeline. It was incredible watching them explore, think, collaborate, and get excited every time they cracked another clue.

Looking forward to seeing everyone at the next community event and to continue to build this wonderful community together

✨ תודה רבה – Thank You, QLD Holocaust Museum ✨

Today our Bar & Bat Mitzvah Club had the privilege of visiting the Queensland Holocaust Museum , and we are deeply grateful for the meaningful, thoughtful experience you created for our group.

Our chanichim and chanichot learned not only about the horrors of the Holocaust, but also about the strength, resilience, and humanity of the Jewish people.

For many of them, this was the first time engaging with this chapter of our history in such a real and personal setting — and it will stay with them as they continue their journey toward becoming responsible, compassionate young Jewish adults.

Thank you to the dedicated staff and volunteers who welcomed us with warmth, patience, and respect.

We are grateful for the opportunity to learn, reflect, and honour the past together as a community.
