5 THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW IN 2026 (RRIA Perspective)
1. Community safety starts early
Prevention, education, and early intervention matter more than reactive systems. Strong communities reduce crime before it begins.
2. Mental health is a safety issue
Unaddressed mental health challenges impact families, youth, and community wellbeing — support must be accessible, local, and stigma-free.
3. Technology should protect people, not replace care
Smart, ethical use of technology strengthens safety, accountability, and early support — but human connection remains essential.
4. Youth need pathways, not punishment
When young people are supported with structure, mentorship, and opportunity, long-term outcomes improve for everyone.
