Yesterday we introduced you to Duncan, a little orphaned joey who came into came into care after he was found on his deceased mother.
Here is Part 2 of Duncan’s story (so far!):
💚 Duncan's road back to the wild hasn't been a straight one. After spending time in kindy and at Mogill Plantation, he was released near his original home at Kents Lagoon. However, he struggled to settle, remaining in the same tree for a week before carers stepped in.
💚 When rescued, Duncan was suffering from dehydration and reduced gut output, requiring intensive care at RSPCA. Once recovered, he returned to Back to the Bush Koalas for some much-needed pre-release plantation time.
💚 After rebuilding his confidence in a kindy tree, Duncan is now recovering in a specialised rehabilitation plantation, gaining confidence and preparing for another release into the wild.
