Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Housing Queensland (Housing Queensland) is the peak body for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community housing providers in Queensland.
Since our establishment in 2021, we have inherited an important cultural legacy—to stand up, to speak out and to lead change in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander housing in Queensland.
We are more than just a peak body. We are a trusted and independent organisation. Our focus and vision is to eliminate the disparities in housing experienced by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
We believe that a strong community housing provider sector and long-term partnerships between government, the private sector and our members can play a significant role in improving Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander housing outcomes in Queensland.
