The studio was filled with colour as our Hansel & Gretel cast embraced the dress-up fun.

From handmade details to wonderfully imaginative creations, it was so lovely to see the care and creativity that went into each costume.

A huge thank you to all the wonderful families who helped bring these characters to life!
What a sweet way to finish a big week of rehearsals!

The Hansel & Gretel cast stepped into a world of sweet treats 🍭🧁✨

After a wonderful week of rehearsals, our dancers finished on an extra-sweet note thanks to our wonderful partners at Vanilla Pod, who treated the cast to the most delicious cupcakes.
With a production filled with lollies, sweets and a little bit of magic, we couldn’t think of a more perfect way to celebrate a big week in the studio.

A huge thank you to the team for spoiling our dancers. 💕

Here's to the friendships.

For many, the memories of BTQ extend far beyond the stage. Lifelong friendships are formed through rehearsals, performances, shared triumphs and countless hours in the studio.

This beautiful gathering of BTQ alumni is a reminder that the connections made through dance can last a lifetime.

A familiar face behind the scenes at BTQ, Margie brings creativity, care and a little bit of fairy magic to the wardrobe team.

From a childhood surrounded by costumes and precision ice skating to the careful hand-stitching and finishing touches that help bring each costume to life, Margie’s story is full of artistry, detail and heart.

There is something incredibly special about being the first dancer to step into a role.
At BTQ, the creation of a new work invites the dancers to do more than step into a role. They become part of discovering it, shaping how a character moves, responds and ultimately exists within the world of the ballet.
Ideas are offered, explored and sometimes transformed completely by what happens in the studio, making the process a genuinely collaborative one.
