Brookfield United CC is celebrating 150 years of cricket at Brookfield Showgrounds with a fantastic family day next Saturday.

Thereโ€™ll be plenty happening, including cricket activities, historic memorabilia, food trucks, face painting and a dunk tank โ€” plus the chance to meet legendary Australian captain Allan Border and former Test player Carl Rackeman!

๐Ÿšชโœจ New doors, better facilities for our community!

Weโ€™re excited to see the new shed doors installed at the Brookfield Showground, thanks to a Queensland Government Gambling Community Benefit Fund grant, Dr Christian Rowan MP

๐ŸŒง๏ธ The previous doors had suffered from rust and flood damage, with one no longer able to operate. The new doors provide a secure and reliable space for the Brookfield Show Society and Brookfield United CC to use throughout the year. ๐Ÿ

A big thank you to River City Doors for completing the installation today.

This project was made possible through the partnership of Brookfield Show Society, Brookfield Recreation Reserve Trust and Brookfield United Cricket Club โ€” working together to continue improving our local facilities. ๐Ÿ’š
