And that’s a wrap on the 20th Anniversary Bike 4 Burns ride. ❤️🔥🚴

Today’s final stage may have been shortened due to the rain, but while the roads were wet, the riders’ spirits certainly weren’t dampened. The team rolled into the Queensland Children’s Hospital to an absolutely fantastic welcome from staff, families, supporters and our incredible ambassador Charlie — a reminder of exactly why this ride matters so much.

Once again the amazing team from the Rapid Relief Team AU were on hand with a delicious meal and much appreciated hot drinks to welcome the riders at the finish line. Their support throughout the journey has been nothing short of incredible.

Congratulations to every single rider who took part in this year’s ride. Over the past week they pushed themselves hard, climbed countless hills, battled winds, backed up day after day and achieved new personal bests — all for the kids.

And finally, a massive thank you to our amazing support crew. Without your endless work behind the scenes, this ride simply would not be possible. From logistics, safety and mechanical support to food, hydration and encouragement, you are the backbone of Bike 4 Burns.

There’ll be more to say in the coming days… but for now…

Wulkuraka ➡️ Queensland Children’s Hospital | 53km | 582m Elevation

And just like that — Bike 4 Burns 2026 is coming to an end.

A fantastic night was had by all thanks the hospitality of West Morton Anglican College.

Today the riders roll from Wulkuraka into the Queensland Children’s Hospital, finishing seven days on the road and an incredible journey from Bundaberg to Brisbane. The rain has mixed things up but the goal will be to get in safely and together as a team.

The final day is always special.

It’s not just about crossing the finish line.
It’s about arriving together, as one group, after a week of kilometres, climbs, tired legs, early starts, support crew effort, community backing and shared purpose.

For 20 years, Bike 4 Burns has raised funds to support kids with burn injuries through research, equipment, treatment improvements, burns camps and programs that help children and families through recovery.

Every rider, every sponsor, every donation and every supporter plays a part in that impact.

Because this ride has never just been about the bike.

It’s about helping kids heal better.
Helping families feel supported.
Helping children spend less time in hospital and more time being kids.

Seven days done.
20 years strong.

Day 6 wrapped up and after the brutal climbing of yesterday’s Queen Stage, the riders were treated to some absolutely fantastic downhills today. Safe to say there were a few tired legs very happy to let gravity do some of the work for a change! 🚴💨

The weather gods were kind to us again with the riders managing to stay dry all day, although the wind still decided it wanted to be part of the event and kept everyone honest out on the road.

As always, the resilience and spirit of the riders continues to shine through as the kilometres stack up and the finish line slowly gets closer.

Tonight is one of the most anticipated nights of the tour — our Hawaiian themed auction night! 🌺🍍🌴
A fantastic chance for everyone to relax, have a laugh and raise even more money for an incredible cause, with all funds raised tonight going directly to support the burns unit and the life-changing care they provide to kids and families.

Thank you again to everyone supporting Bike 4 Burns — riders, volunteers, sponsors and communities. Every kilometre and every dollar truly makes a difference. ❤️

A big cheers to Eurocold a new sponsor this year. The cold truck has been a game changer for our support crew and riders!
Large parts of the ride we are self supported and the ability to keep both food and drinks cold without needing multiple eskies and ice top ups along the way has made the logistics so much easier.

Day 6 is a go — and the finish line is getting close.

After a surprisingly warm night at our accommodation thanks to Toowoomba State High.

Today the riders roll from Toowoomba to Wulkuraka, with another big day on the road and plenty of tired legs after nearly a full week of riding.

At this point of the ride, the kilometres hurt — but the purpose keeps everyone moving.

Bike 4 Burns helps support the Children’s Hospital Foundation to fund important work for kids with burn injuries, including research, specialist equipment, better treatment options and on-the-ground support programs that help reduce the stress and anxiety of a child’s hospital stay.

That support matters.

For a child going through burns treatment, recovery is not just physical. It can involve pain, fear, repeated procedures and time away from home — especially for families travelling from regional Queensland.

Every kilometre helps support better care, better recovery and better outcomes for kids and families.

One day to go.
