It's that time of the year again!

Our annual Bunnings Sausage Sizzle is coming up THIS Saturday 29 Aug at Cannon Hill Bunnings.

Come say g'day to one of our local Firefighters / Supporters, and grab a Stanbroke supplied Honey Wagyu snag to help us do our bit for children affected by burns.

This year's Bunnings fundraiser is going towards purchasing two marquees to keep our crews sun safe during the ride and events.

As a not for profit, every cent from these events helps keep running costs down, and ensure all fundraising during the ride goes directly to those that need it.

We've got a lot to be thankful for on world bicycle day.

Did you know that first and foremost, Bike4Burns was created as a health and wellness initiative?

Twenty years ago, one Queensland Firefighter suggested he and his mates ride their bikes for a few days to help the health and mental well-being of themselves and the firefighters around them.

Fast forward to 2026, and hundreds of emergency service personnel from Queensland Fire Department , Queensland Ambulance Service (QAS) and Queensland Police Service have bettered themselves by joining us.

The small side quest - we've also raised over 1.2million dollars for children affected by burns for the Children's Hospital Foundation and Children's Health Queensland / Queensland Children's Hospital.

Just by getting out and having a pedal.

Go Team!!!
