Last week Mary Anne, Hannah, Yooleelar, Jalilah, and Taniel kicked off their placement with Murri Watch Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Corporation β and we couldn't be prouder! π
This is exactly the kind of real-world pathway IYMP is all about. By connecting our young people with meaningful work experience in community-focused organisations, we're helping them build the skills, confidence, and connections to shape their futures.
A huge thank you to the team at Murri Watch for welcoming our students with open arms. This is what happens when community supports community. π
This week we gave a warm welcome to 5 students from the Indigenous Youth Mobility Pathways Project (IYMP) who will be spending their placement hours at Murri Watch over the next couple of months.
We are very grateful to be able to support the work that IYMP do for our Indigenous Youth, and look forward to contributing towards their learning.
Having already completed study in youth work and community services, our students will embark on a journey into working within a sector that can be challenging but also rewarding.
We thank IYMP for trusting us to support their students with their learning, and are very excited for what's to come.
