ANZAC DAY.
On this day, Saturday, April 25th, 2026, we honour the gallant Brethren of Lamington Lodge who made the supreme sacrifice:
* Wor. Bro. Frank Moran, Captain, 15th Battalion (A.I.F.). Died of wounds (Battle of Sari Bair, Gallipoli), onboard ship off Gibraltar, Friday, August 20th, 1915, aged 38 years.
* Bro. Thomas James Bartley, 2nd-Lieut., 42nd Battalion (A.I.F.). Killed in action, Belgium, Sunday, June 10th, 1917, aged 24 years.
* Bro. Stanley Leonard Roy Harvey, Gunner, 3rd Battery (A.F.A.). Died of wounds (gassed), Belgium, Saturday, November 3rd, 1917, aged 27 years.
* Bro. John Mactaggart, Flying Officer, 3 Squadron (R.A.A.F.). Killed in flying accident, El Alamein, Egypt, Tuesday, August 18th, 1942, aged 20 years.
* Bro. Charles Stanford Hill, Flight Lieut., 2 Air Ambulance (R.A.A.F.). Killed in flying accident, Charters Towers, Sunday, April 25th, 1943, aged 33 years.
* Bro. Alexander Charles McNab, Flying Officer, 452 Spitfire Squadron (R.A.A.F.). Killed in air combat, Timor Sea, Sunday, May 2nd, 1943, aged 24 years.
* Bro. John Gordon Bridgford, Lieut., 2/15th Battalion (Australian Army). Died of illness, Wilston, Monday, September 24th, 1945, aged 43 years.
