The Mornsie’s $10 Charity Rack has been freshly restocked and is ready for next Sunday’s Brisbane Pre-Loved Fashion Markets & Rent A Rack Boutique Market. Filled with gorgeous pre-loved pieces, every sale helps fund the maintenance and ongoing refurbishment of our much-loved hall.

Calling all crafters (and enthusiastic non-crafters too)! ✂️🌿

We’re getting the hall Bush Dance ready (see yesterdays post) and would love your help at our Community Crafternoon.

We’ll be making paper flowers, garlands and scrap fabric bunting to give the hall that special Mornsie touch. No experience necessary — just bring your enthusiasm, some spare scissors if you have them, and any fabric scraps you’d like to share.

Sunday 19th July. 2pm til 5pm

Many hands make light work, and it’s always more fun together! 💛

Mark your diaries, friends of the Mornsie – our ever-popular Bush Dance is back! 🤠🎶

The fabulous will once again be taking over the hall for a night of great music, dancing and plenty of fun. Whether you’re a seasoned bush dancer or have two left feet, everyone is welcome!

💛 Happy Sunday, folks!

Here’s hoping your day is as sunny as one of the delightful tiles created by Year 5 students from Morningside State School around 28 years ago.

Scattered around the grounds of the Mornsie and in the corner space near Thynne Road, these cheerful little artworks add so much character, colour and creativity to our grand old hall.

Has anyone else taken the time to walk around and spot them?☀️😊
