Volunteers of all ages and abilities are welcome. Enjoy healthy activity, friendly interactions and contributing to the local area.

Our last meet of the year! Please join us, for those able, in bringing a plate of food to share at the end of the meet in celebration of a great year of effort!

We will be removing invasive plants, particularly vines and coral flower, along the northern end of the Coucal Trail, adjacent to the Brisbane River. Volunteers of all abilities are welcome. Move at your own pace. Tools provided if required.

Pictured in our CDEA post is Adam, a 2yo rehabilitated male koala newly introduced into Pooh Corner Bushland Reserve in Wacol Qld on 30 April 2024. He is the newest addition to the population of koalas, numbering around ten now, in Pooh Corner, Wacol Bushlands and other neighbouring bushlands.

Join your guides Luke Hogan and Jutta Godwin for a microbat discovery walk at Pooh Corner Bushland Reserve. Learn about microbats and their needs whilst listening out for our insectivorous neighbours. Details are as follows:
