That's not a boab! Bottle trees might look like they're from the Kimberley, but this species is endemic to Queensland and found all over the Maranoa. The resemblance is convergent evolution — two completely different trees that independently evolved the same bulbous trunk to store water through long dry periods. This one is near Expedition National Park.
