እድር ባሕላዊ የማህበረሰብ ስብስብ ወይም የቀብር ማህበር ሆኖ ሙትን ለመቅበር የሚያግዝ ድርጅት ነው፡፡ የቀደሙት አያቶቻችን በእድር ተደራጅተው፣ በየወሩ መዋጮ እያዋጡ፣ የቀብር ስርዐትንና የሙታ ቤተሰብን በሐዘንና በእዝን ወቅት ያግዙና ይረዱ ነበር᎓᎓
እኛም በኪውንስላንድ የምንኖር፣ አንድ ባሕል፣ አንድ ልምድ፣ ያስተሳሰረን የዚህ ሕብረተሰብ አባላት የእድርን ጠቃሚነትን ከቀደምት አያቶቻችን ተረድተንና ‘ሞት’ የማይወገድ ክስተት መሆኑነ ተገንዝበን “የኢትዮጵያውያን መረዳጃ እድር በኩውንስላንድ” /ኢመእኩ/ አቋቁመናል᎓᎓
የኢትዮጵያውያን መረዳጃ እድር በኩውንስላንድ በእዚህ አኳያ ለሟች አባል ቤተሰብ የገንዘብ እርዳታ ድጋፍ፣ መንፈሳ
ዊ ድጋፍ እንዲሁም የማሕበራዊ ድጋፍ ይሰጣል᎓᎓ ይህም እርዳታና ድጋፍ ተገቢ በመሆኑ፣ የሟች አባል ቤተሰብ ሐዘኑንና እዝኑን ተረጋግተውና ተጽናንተው እንዲወጡት ይረዳል᎓᎓
የኢትዮጵያውያን መረዳጃ እድር በኩውንስላንድ /ኢመእኩ/ በዘር፣ በጾታ፣ በሀይማኖትና በፖለቲካ እምነት ልዩነት ሳይኖር ሁሉንም ኢትዮጵያውያን ተቀብሎ እንደሚያስተናግድ ቃለ በመግባት፤ ሐምሌ 19 /2006 (July 26 /2014) ተመሰረተ᎓᎓
Edir’ is a traditional community group or burial societies dedicated to helping families bury their dead. Most of our ancestor families were involved in Edirs by making monthly contributions and providing practical help to their members’ bereaved family during funeral and mourning periods. Given the significant benefits of Edir, and regarding ‘death’ is part of life, we, the families who shared common ancestral culture and experience, establish the “Ethiopian Burial Society of Queensland/ EBSQ” Co-op Ltd. The co-operative, in this regard, assists families with monetary support, spiritual support, social support and traditional respite care that are essential in such a difficult time. This support soothes some impacts associated to the deceased individual families and reduces the grieving and mourning process. The Ethiopian Burial Society of Queensland / EBSQ / Co-op Ltd established on 26th of July 2014 (ሐምሌ 19 / 2006) as it has solemnly vowed welcoming Ethiopians regardless of their gender, ethnicity, religion and political beliefs.
የማህበሩ አላማዎች / Objectives of the corporate Associations
በጋራ እሴት፣ ባሕልና የአስተዳደጋችን መንፈስ ተሰባስበን ባሕላዊ የእድር አገልግሎትን ለመሰጠት ሲሆን የሚከተሉትን ዋና ዋና ተግባራት እናከናውናለን፡-
1. በአባል ወይም በቤተሰቡ ላይ በሞት ምክንያት ሐዘን ሲደርስ የችግሩ ተካፋይ በመሆን ‘የሐዘን ድጋፍ’ ይሰጣል:፡ ይህ የሐዘን ድጋፍ’ የማህበራዊ እርዳታ ድጋፍን፣ የመንፈሳዊ እርዳታ ድጋፍንና የገንዘብ እርዳታ ድጋፍን – የሟችን አስከሬን መቅበርንም – ይጠቀልላል፡፡
2. በአባላትና በመላው ማህበረሰብ መካከል ወዳጅነትን ለማጠናከር የሚጠቅሙ “የቤተሰብ ቀን” የመሳሰሉ ዝግጅቶችን ማከናወንና የእድሩን የገንዘብ አቅም ለማጐልበት በሚደረጉ አገልግሎቶች እንዲሁም ስጋት በሌለባቸው የኢንቨስትመንት ተግባራት መሳተፍ - በአውስትራሊያ ውስጥ ብቻ ፡፡
Driven by the common value, tradition and spirit of our upbringing, we institute the self-help and non-professional incorporated co-operative association called Edir, to execute the following core objectives.
1. This includes social support, spiritual support, monetary support and traditional respite care to members.
2. Promoting friendship, with an event like family day, amongst members and the broader community, and participating in fund-raising and risk-free investing activities, only in Australia, to enhance financial viability of the association.
የአባልነት መደቦች / Classes of Members
የኢትዮጵያውያን መረዳጃ እድር በኩዊንስላንድ (ኢመእኩ) መደበኛ አባላትን አካቶ የሚከተሉትን የአባልነት መደቦች ዝርዝር አሉት᎓᎓ ይህም እነዚህን ይጨምራል ፦
1 (ሀ) ረዳት አባላት
2 (ለ) የዘላለም አባላት
3 (ሐ) የክብር አባላት
የኢትዮጵያውያን መረዳጃ እድር በኩዊንስላንድ (ኢመእኩ) መደበኛ አባላት መጠን ገደብ የለውም᎓᎓ አባል ለመሆንም የዘር፣ የጾታ፣ የሀይማኖትና የፖለቲካ እምነት ልዩነትን የሚቃወም ምንም አጋች መስፈርት በእድሩ ማህበር መተዳደሪያ ሕግ ውስጥ የለም - ከ18 ዓመት እድሜእና በላይ በስተቀር᎓᎓
The membership of the EBSQ shall consist of ordinary members and any of the following classes of members:
1. life members.
3. honorary members. The number of ordinary members is unlimited, and there is no restriction regarding of gender, ethnicity, religion, and political beliefs - other than age 18 or over.
አባል በሕይወት ሲለይ የሚከናወኑ ተግዳራት / Activities of the corporate association, when a member passed away
1. ሟች ግለሰብን በኩዊንስላንድ/አውስትራሊያ እንዲቀበር በቤተሰቦች ከተወሰነ፣ ማህበሩ የቀብር አገልግሎትን በአካባቢው በሚገኝ የቀብር አገልግሎት አስፈፃሚ ወኪል በኩል እንዲፈጸም ያደርጋል፡፡ በሟች ቤተሰቦች አስፈላጊ ሆኖ ከተገኘ አንደ የእድሩ አባል ዕምነት የመታሰቢያ አገልግሎት ኘሮግራም ይከናወናል፡፡
2. የሟች ቤተሰቦች አስክሬናቸውን በአውስትራሊያ ውስጥ ወይም ወደውጭ አገር መላክ ከፈለጉ ማህበሩ ይህንን ተግባር በአገር ውስጥ በሚገኙና አለምአቀፋዊ የቀብር ስርዐት አስፈጻሚ ወኪሎች በኩል ጋር አንድ በሆነ ተመሳሳይ ወጪ ይህንን ተግባር ያከናውናል፡፡
3. ከቤተሰብ ጋር በመተባበር ማህበሩ ስለሟች ታሪክ መግለጫ ከፎቶ ጋር ያዘጋጃል፡፡
4. ማህበሩ በአባላቶቹ ምትክ በመሆን በመቃብር ላይ የሐዘን መግለጫ አበባ ለማስታወሻ ያስቀምጣል፡፡ እንዲሁም “የእዝን እርዳታ” ይሰጣል በእድሩ መተዳደሪያ ደንብ በክፍል 9:9.1 መሰረት ፡፡
5. የእድሩ አገልግሎት የሚጠናቀቀው ሁሉም ሐዘንተኞች የቀብረ ስርዐቱ እንደ ተፈጸመ፣ በሟች ቤት ውስጥ ተገኝተው ባሕላዊ ጠበል ጻዲቅ ከተቀመሰ በኋላ ነው፡፡
1. On request of the member families, the association manages the funeral service through the local funeral service directors, including church service – absolution- and memorial service program and other thing according to the member’s belief.
2. If a request to transfer the deceased to interstate or overseas has been made by the families, the association then conducts this task through the local and international funeral service directors.
3. Upon collaboration with the family, the association also prepares a written summary (including photo) of the deceased life.
4. The Association will place a sympathy wreath on the grave on behalf of its members and will provide a ‘bereavement support’ according to the constitution section 9:9.1.
5. Duties of the Association will be completed when all mourners share the traditional repast at the deceased home.
የአባልነት ድጋፎች / Membership supports
1. የኢትዮጵያውያን መረዳጃ እድር በኩዊንስላንድ ‘የሐዘን ድጋፍ’ ለእድሩ አባልና ቤተሰቡ ይሰጣል፡፡ ይህም፦ የገንዘብ እርዳታ ድጋፍን – የሟችን አስከሬን ለመቅበር – ፣ የመንፈሳዊ እርዳታ ድጋፍንና የማህበራዊ እርዳታን ድጋፍን ያጠቀልላል፡
2. የእድሩን ማህበር የገንዘብ እርዳታ ድጋፍ መጠን፣ የመንፈሳዊ እርዳታ ድጋፍንና የማህበራዊ እርዳታ ድጋፍ አይነት በኢትዮጵያውያን መረዳጃ እድር በኩዊንስላንድ ስራ አመራር ኮሚቴ ይወሰናል፡፡
1. The corporate association provides ‘bereavement support’ that includes monetary support, spiritual support and social support and traditional respite care for a member and that member’s immediate dependent families. The level of monetary support, spiritual support, social support, and traditional respite care, to members, will be decided by the executive committee members.
የበጀት አመት / Financial Year
የእድሩ ማህበር የበጀት አመት (financial year) የሚጀምረው በየአንዳንዱ ዓመት አፕሪል አንድ (1) ላይ ሲሆን የሚጨረስው በቀጣዩ ዓመት በማርች ሰላሳ-አንድ (31) ላይ ነው፡፡ የበጀት አመት ካለፈ በአምስት ወራቶች ውስጥ የእድሩ ማህበር አመታዊ ጠቅላላ ጉባኤ መጠራት አለበት፡፡
The cooperate association financial year starts on the 1st of April and ends 31st of March of each year. The annual general meeting must be held within five months of the financial year.
