The Kalbar Haybale Trail and Country Day is on this Saturday, with more than 140 market stalls, live music, vintage vehicles, animal displays and plenty of country fun.

Follow the famous Hay Bale Trail to spot some seriously clever hay sculptures, then try your luck at the carrot throwing competitions! 🥕😂

FYI: for next weekend (looks like a rainy one anyway)

⚡ Planned Power Outage at Rocks Riverside Park ⚡

I wanted to let you know that Energex has scheduled a planned power outage on Sunday, 18 October, from 6am to 4pm.

During this time, the water play area, jumping pillow and barbecues will be unavailable. Temporary toilets will be located near the playground, and the toilets near Counihan Road will remain open.

Thank you for your patience and understanding while these essential works are carried out. We look forward to welcoming everyone back for splashing, bouncing and barbecue fun once power is restored.

Have you been to Wild Horse Mountain Lookout yet? It was recently featured in the unveiling of the new Brisbane Olympic emblem and is a great little pitstop just off the Bruce Highway.

The walk is short (700m), but steep, and once at the top affords you 360 degree views of the Glasshouse Mountains, Moreton Island, Bribie Island and beyond.

NB. There are NO toilet facilities at the lookout or carpark, and due to the steep grade, the path is not recommended for prams. Plan accordingly!

The Brisbane Celtic Festival is bringing a free day of traditional music, pipe bands, dancing and cultural celebrations to Moorlands Park. 🎶
