We love the enthusiasm, but let’s clear up a few things:

❌ More nominations ≠ , better chances
ONE strong nomination per category is all you need.

❌ Don’t nominate in ALL 7 categories
Choose a MAXIMUM of 2 that truly fit. Each has specific criteria.

❌ This is NOT a popularity vote
Winners are chosen by an independent jury based on MERIT, not likes or shares.

❌ Not all categories apply to everyone
Read the requirements first (QLD resident? Under 30? Non-Latino ally?)

📩 Nominated someone else? If it meets the requirements, they’ll receive an email to accept and complete their info.

📩 Self-nominating? You complete everything directly.

In 2021, was born with a simple mission: to connect, support, and empower the Latin American community in Queensland.

Five years later, we’re proud to mark this milestone by launching the inaugural Latin American Awards Australia 2026 – a night to honour the leaders, changemakers, and dreamers who make our community shine.

This isn’t just an awards ceremony. It’s a celebration of who we are and everything we’ve built together.
