Moreton Bay Safe Communities is pleased to present Dr Jillian Spencer, a Qld Health psychiatrist, is a prime example. She is a brave defender of the human rights of a cohort of her patients, gender dysphoric children. Commonly referred to as "transgender" children, these vulnerable youngsters are rushed into and through a gender transition process by the health system.
Jillian, as a dedicated child and adolescent psychiatrist, raised genuine concerns about the impacts of the process on the patients. Qld Health responded by suspending her and she iis still struggling to save her professional career.
Doctor Spencer will speak at or May 31st meeting.
