It’s Whitehorse Seniors Month in October, and the Shed has a number of events happening in partnership with Whitehorse Council and the Community Arts Centre - all with a focus on helping us all to be prepared for the ageing process - so it’s never too early or too young to find out more!

Sessions include a series of Wednesday workshops (10am-1pm), including a free BBQ lunch, and a special Together @ the Shed community event and expo on Saturday the 18th from 5.30 to 7.30pm.

We’d love to see you at any or all of the events! Check out the flyer below for more info.

These sessions also mean that the Shed will be open for extra times in the month of October! So if you’re keen to get some more work done on your projects, or even just to hang out and chat to the community who will be popping their heads in, we’d love to see you there!

Extra shed times in October will be:

Every Wednesday: 10am-1pm
Saturday 18th: 5pm-8pm.

The Village Well is excited to welcome Spectrum Quest to our community, who will be running weekly role playing games for young autistic and neurodiverse people on Monday arvos/evenings commencing on the 6th of October.

Spectrum Quest helps children and young people improve relationship and social skills through in-person tabletop role playing games. They have sessions for kids, teenagers and young adults with a special focus on neurodiversity, and all sessions are autism-friendly and hosted by a qualified and experienced Game Master.

We're really looking forward to seeing how things unfold on their quests!
