This week we had the pleasure of attending the National SIL summit. Hosted by Tania Gomez Consulting on the beautiful Gold Coast. What a great event and wonderful opportunity to network and engage with industry experts to enhance our skills and knowledge to provide better support and outcomes to our participants 🥳🎉☀️

Alpine Way Disability Services is looking to welcome new staff to our already fabulous team. We support clients across a wide range of services including independent living, social and community participation, respite, daily living and day services.

As a Disability Support Worker every day is different. From supporting clients to access the community and increase their social skills to trips to the grocery shop or GP. Support workers are expected to have a wide range of skills and life experience that they can bring to the role. Experience is preferred but not essential as training and support is provided but Empathy and compassion, coupled with Respect and Reliability are essential to the role.

As we continue to grow and expand our service, we are looking to employ staff who are seeking work across all of our services. The ability to work both autonomously and also part of a team is important to be successful in this role.

We currently have support shifts available in -

Boronia (Day Service - Weekday Shifts Available)

Kilsyth (Residential - Weekday / Weekend and Sleepover Shifts Available)

Nunawadding (Residential - LGBTQ+ Friendly Only - Weekday Afternoon / Weekend Shifts Available)

Additional shifts available at varying locations in the outer east.

As a support worker you will be required to do the following -

Assist Clients 1:1 or In A Group Setting

Follow Client Support Plans

Assist With Meal Preparation & Meal Assistance When Required

Administer Medications Within Scope and Legislative Guidelines

Complete Daily Notes and Incident Reports If Required

Implement Behaviour Support Strategies

Support Clients In The Community

Provide Assistance With Personal Care When Required

Advocate For Clients Rights

Have Fun!
