Wanted: donations of (small) plastic plant pots for students to use for cutting and propagation project early in term 1 (to establish and sell plants at proposed fundraiser event in May). Donations of left over bags of clean unused potting mix also welcome. Please drop at Maules Creek in front of Fairfax PS p&c shipping container doors (the one with children painted on the side next to the school/ behind the swing set near gate), or drop a comment below for one of our members to arrange pick up. From little schools big doors open!! What an achievement for Anna to compete in the State Finals of the Multicultural Perspectives Public Speaking Competition today in Sydney. Although she didn’t take home the champion title today, her presentation, confidence and stand out good sportsmanship congratulating of other competitors spoke volumes for what our Fairfax Public School at Maules Creek does to help children shine bright amongst their peers both at home and at this highest level.
