An important part of participating in these rallies is raising money for Cancer Council to fund Cancer Research. The treatments we have today saving lives started somewhere and there are still many more treatments needed for many types of Cancer. This year's rally hits a bit harder. A few weeks ago we lost my mum, a short 6 weeks after being diagnosed with a rare, aggressive type of Pancreatic Cancer, after a lot of testing and waiting. So this year we Rally for her, Jasmine and I as Lunchbox Team Gryffindor and Rod and Dougie as Team Rocket & the Rat Lunchbox Rally 2026. I am so glad that we can take the kids on this journey at this time to teach and encourage them to support this great cause.

This is what the rally is about: raising funds for cancer research and getting a bit dirty while doing it.

Many of us have been affected by cancer in one way or another. Whether it be parents, family, close friends, people we know or ourselves that have battled or are battling cancer, this awful disease has touched us all. We not only want to raise awareness and money for Cancer Council, but also want to offer support and a friendly ear to those that have suffered or are suffering.
