Volunteers Wanted
Blackwood Environment Centre & Library of Things
Do you have a few hours a week to spare?
Would you like to meet new people, support your community, and help the environment?
The Blackwood Environment Centre and Blackwood Library of Things, located right in the heart of Blackwood, are looking for friendly, reliable volunteers to join our team.
We’re open:
Tuesday – Friday: 10.00 am – 4.00 pm
Saturday: 10.00 am – 1.00 pm
What you’ll do:
• Welcome visitors and help with borrowing and returning items from the Library of Things
• Share information about our eco-friendly initiatives and displays
• Keep the centre tidy and inviting
• Support interesting events, creative workshops, and worthwhile community projects
What you’ll get:

• Opportunities to learn new skills and have fun in the process
• The satisfaction of making a positive difference in your community
