Tonight was the first meeting of the brand new Blackmans Bay History Group! We are so excited to see where this group takes us as the BBCA heads into it's 80th year!

If you have photos and stories you would like to share, we would love to hear from you. It might be that you or a relative grew up here 20-30- 40-50-60-70- 80 years ago, we would love to talk to you and them!

We have volunteers who would love to sit and have a cup of tea whilst listening to stories from bygone eras- particularly if coming to a meeting is not possible for you or the person you know.

Come and warm up at our mid winter gathering!

June 27th 5-8pm.

Starting with Youth Open Mic at 5pm, we will move into a warm meal together alongside an adult Cover Circle until 8pm.

We look forward to seeing you and yours there! Bring an instrument, bring a friend, bring something yummy to share. Or, just turn up and find some new friends!

We are extremely excited to share this brand new initiative with our community! A wonderful collaboration with endless possibilities.

We hope that you will come along and chat with others who are interested in the history of Blackmans Bay.

5-6pm on the second Friday of the winter months.

All ages and stages are welcome.

The aim of these initial meetings will be to connect and create an exhibition as part of the BBCA 2026 AGM.

The BBCA turns 80 next year- let's get ready for it!
