Tomorrow, Tuesday, you're welcome to come along to the Bindoon Hall to the CWA meeting room, where our members and friends will be busy making craft projects. Have a cuppa with them, help out with a craft project or bring one of your own, enjoy the companionship of wonderful women! Open from 9.30 till 2.00, it's a great way to see the items our members and friends make, and to buy a couple of them as bespoke gifts for the important people in your life. See you tomorrow!

National Volunteers Week is underway, so it's time to celebrate the volunteer work that CWA members do, including ourselves at the Chittering-Bindoon CWA. From preparing and serving refreshments at the local Anzac Day ceremony to making craft items to donate to those who need them, our aim is to serve and support our local community. And we know that lots of other people around our community are also generous volunteers - thank you to all of them!

Remember you're always welcome to call into the Chittering Bindoon CWA meeting room in the Bindoon Hall on Tuesday mornings. Our members and friends gather for a craft morning, sharing a cuppa and chat at the same time. You don't need to be a member to come along - bring a craft project of your own or help out with one of ours. The room is open from 9.30 - 2.00 and even if you're not a crafter, you're welcome to come along and browse over the completed craft items. You're likely to find something there that would be a great idea for yourself or as a gift for someone special in your life.

With gratitude to the millions of Mums around our country and around the world, on your special day! Mothers Day is a time to celebrate the generous giving of love and support that Mums and Grans, and lots of other women, are about. The love children receive is what shapes them and our future, so we're immensely grateful to the women who are the foundation of our society. Happy Mothers Day!!!💕

Our Mothers Day Cake and Craft stall has now closed! We had a great morning outside Bindoon IGA (and a huge THANK YOU to Bindoon IGA for providing such a fabulous spot). We haven't had time yet to count our takings but regardless, we'd like to thank all the people who stopped to buy cakes, cookies and craft this morning. We're sure they'll add something special to your Mothers Day celebrations tomorrow! Congratulations to our 4 raffle winners to - winning a money tree, basket of veggies, fruit cake, and bottle of wine. Support from our community means a great deal to us, and we were heartened this morning to see how many people stopped to say 'hello' and have a chat. We'll post again once we know the value of funds raised today!

Come along soon for some wonderful home baked cakes and cookies, plus lots of handmade craft items that would make fabulous Mothers Day gifts for your Mum or Gran. Call in to buy a special gift for your Mum or Gran for Mothers Day tomorrow - made with a great mix of skill and love. And we have a raffle too with wonderful prizes! Good morning everyone! A reminder that the Chittering-Bindoon CWA is holding its Mothers Day Cake and Craft stall outside Bindoon IGA on Saturday, 9th May, from 9.00-12.00. If you're after a special gift for your Mum or Gran, call in to buy something made by our members that is bound to be well-received! And we'll have a raffle too with wonderful prizes. The funds we raise are used to support our efforts in the community, making life better for those in need. See you on Saturday!!!
