Narre Warren Junior Football Club is a junior Australian Rules Football Club, Superkick and AusKick Centre in the City of Casey.

We are located at Sweeney Reserve central to Berwick and Narre Warren. A vibrant and growing community focused family club. The Narre Warren Junior Football Club (NWJFC) is committed to offering everyone in our community the chance to engage in healthy, safe, and inclusive football activities within a fun, family-oriented environment. We take great pride in being a local club with teams for both boys and girls across age groups from under 8’s to under 16’s. Established in 1975, the 2025 season marks our 50th anniversary, a milestone we are incredibly proud of.

Some were majestic.

Some were confusing.

And some raised serious questions about who was taking minutes at committee meetings in the 1970s. 🤔

What if, during a period of deep reflection, questionable planning and extreme Sunday morning fatigue, club officials decided that effort, enthusiasm and punctuality were slightly overrated?

Today, we explore the story of a mascot that perfectly captured the feeling of waking up before sunrise for junior football.

A mascot famous for taking life at its own pace.

A mascot that understood every player, coach and parent who has ever hit the snooze button one too many times.

A mascot that almost changed the course of Narre Warren history forever.
