The mother of two-year-old Pippa White, who died in a NSW Hospital after diagnosis and treatment delays has welcomed the prospect of videos of her symptoms being used to train doctors.

As a bereaved parent, I never want another mum or dad to feel the pain we do each and every day.
On the day Evie passed away, her father and I made a promise to her.
We promised that her death would not be in vain.
We promised that we would fight to ensure sepsis takes fewer lives.
That promise is at the heart of the Evie Gamble Foundation.
Evie was quirky, sassy, kind-hearted and full of life.
She loved bad dad jokes, Roblox, The Descendants movies and playing with makeup. She had an amazing singing voice, a big booming laugh and dreams of becoming a lifeguard or makeup artist.
Her favourite colour was purple. Her favourite number was 13.
She was our daughter. Our beautiful Evie.
And she should still be here.

Through EGF, we are working to keep Evie’s memory alive, raise awareness of the condition that stole her life and collaborate with others to create change in the way sepsis is responded to.
We want parents and loved ones to be heard when they raise concerns.
We want patients to be heard.
We want sepsis to receive greater recognition for the devastating impact it has on our community — including deaths, ongoing health challenges and the needs of survivors.
And above all, we never want another family to experience the pain of losing someone they love to sepsis.
Evie, we made you a promise.
We will keep fighting.
