Last night we had night 1 of our STEM SIA bridge building challenge.

The challenge presented for the cubs was to learn a bit about engineering and bridges, design and then build a bridge that spans a gap of 30cm, with a focus on strength.

We will complete building them next week and the put them to the test to see who has designed and built the bridge that can handle the most weight while meeting the build criteria.
