DOLL PRICE GUIDES
>> *Please note, Brisbane Doll Society do not do formal Doll Valuations for insurance purposes and the like. We can however provide a price guide based on recent sales and market trends. Price guides are dependent on our volunteers’s availability and doll knowledge. There is plenty of information on the Internet if you care to research yourself. We suggest you start by identifying your doll. This is achieved by locating your Doll's 'Maker's Mark' which can normally on the back of the head at the nape, upper back or even lower back - sometimes even on the clothes if you look carefully inside. There may be a Manufacturer's name, Model No. Year of Production etc. From there you can head to Google… There's an excellent Doll Markings website called DollReference.com which shows a lot of information & photos listed in alphabetical order. If there’re no markings, we suggest you search a basic description such as ‘hard plastic doll’ or another term that represents your doll best. Enjoy the journey… You may be surprised how much you learn along the way! Of course, if you are really stuck, message us here on FB, send us some clear photos and we will assist if we can. 😀
