Small scale family gold miners are tired and scared.
They are tired of the years of delays and tens of thousands in fees and permits to get a Prospecting Licence or Mining Licence in the state of Victoria.
They are scared from the then constant scrutiny and bureaucratic green-tape masquerading as legislation, coming from councils, government agencies, heritage Victoria or indigenous mobs.
The ones who speak out or push back are usually targeted,
Neville Perry (vale) being one, who didn't take a step backwards and won the battle, but not the war.
With families going through financial crisis, including the latest tax-grab (emergency Service TAX) these increases, show governments have NO empathy for the people they govern.
If you are a small scale miner or live in a community who benefits from their toil, please give feedback.

"Hi Jason, Parks Victoria have commenced works this week in the Reedy Creek area of Chiltern-Mount Pilot National Park to reinstate and upgrade 5 access tracks down to the creek. We have prepared a March newsletter (attached) for you to share with your prospector networks. "
