We were honoured to be invited to participate in the International Day for Dialogue among Civilizations celebration at Box Hill Town Hall.

Our Chinese Dance Group proudly represented Trentwood with a Qipao Walk performance, showcasing the elegance of traditional Chinese dress and celebrating the richness of Chinese culture.

A big thank you to our wonderful performers for their dedication and enthusiasm. It was a fantastic opportunity to share culture, connect with others, and be part of a vibrant multicultural community event.

Discover the Art of Chinese Paper Cutting this School Holidays!

Join talented artist Miao for a fun and hands-on workshop inspired by the rich tradition of Chinese folk art.

Children will learn simple paper cutting techniques while exploring the stories and cultural meanings behind this beautiful art form. Using colourful paper and their creativity, they'll create unique designs to take home, from flowers and animals to festive patterns.

Perfect for curious and creative young minds. No experience needed and all materials are supplied.

☕ Love coffee? Why not learn how to make it like a pro?

Here's a look back at our April Barista Skills Workshop, delivered in partnership with Prace College, where young people gained hands-on experience and confidence in a fun, supportive café environment.

Our next Barista Skills Workshop is coming up these school holidays on **7 & 8 July**. This hands-on, two-day workshop is designed for young people aged 15–20 who are interested in exploring hospitality, customer service, or gaining practical skills that can support future employment opportunities.

Participants will learn:
☑️ Coffee-making basics and café operations
☑️ Milk frothing and espresso preparation
☑️ Customer service and teamwork skills
☑️ Real-world experience through a simulated café activity

All participants receive a Certificate of Participation.

Our Social Table Tennis group is all about friendly games, good company and a bit of healthy competition! Whether you're a seasoned player or just looking to have a hit, everyone is welcome.
