“Eucalypts: Giants, Culture & Fire” explores the extraordinary trees that shape Western Australia’s forests, coastlines and communities — blending Aboriginal knowledge, Western science, conservation and decades of field research.
Drawing on more than 50 years of fieldwork, Stephen Hopper will share insights into the biology, beauty and cultural significance of eucalypts, alongside their complex relationship with fire, industry and landscape management.
Hosted by Ann Ward, this special Augusta event promises a rich and thought-provoking discussion for anyone who loves nature, forests and the South West’s unique environment.
