The club has numerous players in the Rebel Rugby Academy in both the Senior and Junior groups along with two coaches who are Harlequin Rugby, or 'Quins', was formed in 1928 and is one of Melbourne's leading clubs, offering a complete rugby club environment from Under 8's through to Senior, or 'Premier' Division, rugby. A highly qualified coaching team ensures players receive the best preparation f
or on field success and enjoyment. 1st Grade has played in the finals in nine of the last ten seasons; all Senior teams played finals rugby in 2010 and our U16's were the 2010 Premiers. The club has numerous players in the Rebel Rugby Academy in both the Senior and Junior groups along with two coaches who are part of the Rebel Rugby coaching team. We offer our junior squads a place to engage in game that gives them the opportunity to challenge themselves and work as a team as well as develop their respective leadership skills for later in life. Furthermore, we support good sportsmanship, both from players as well as spectators alike. Our young players learn from us, the parents, and we should encourage them throughout the match with positive reinforcement. Rugby promotes fair play and respect for the game and I would welcome your support to maintain a compassionate, sustaining role from the sidelines as well.
