Mandolins in Brisbane Mandolins in Brisbane Music Club Mandolin and Guitar Ensemble Mandolins in Brisbane (MIB) is Queensland’s foremost mandolin and guitar ensemble.

It comprises of two playing groups, the Queensland Mandolin Ensemble (QME) and Brisbane Mandolins. Founded in Brisbane, Queensland in 1998, Mandolins In Brisbane plays a varied repertoire from renaissance to contemporary. Both playing groups not only continue the well established traditions of mandolin music founded in Italy, but also performs classical, folk, bluegrass and popular music from acro

ss the globe. Brisbane Mandolins is conducted by classical guitarist and musical director, Joel Woods.
