Some of our proposed solutions!

1. A competition for artists to come to Alice Springs, paint the best portrait of an Alice Springs scene, e.g., a brush and fame competition

2. Write to Mining Companies suggesting an Advanced Energy Forum, e.g., BHP Newman GeoThermal, Arafura, Rare Earths.
Donald Trump is very interested in this

3. Having a beautiful voice competition.

4. Organising a big Aussie Barbecue, possibly at the Telegraph Station

5. Having a garden clinic? Engaging Geoff Myers and Costa!

6. Why are all the Aboriginal organisations in Canberra when most of the Aboriginals are in the top end? Where Alice Springs is the Centre. We can encourage them to have their officers up here

7. Gina Rineheart is very community-minded and will be at a Rebel Conference with A fantastic Dr Charlie Teo, in Sydney. Since she loves Alice Springs, invite her to visit. Where can we organise a Power Breakfast at Mercure Restaurant?

8. Organise an Outback Golf competition, including Alice Springs, Broken Hill, Tennant Creek, Pt Augusta, Coober Pede, Mt Isa, Kathrine.

Hi everyone, this morning I wrote to the Director of Infrastructure and the Mayor! Making it crystal clear that we would like a safety audit of trees in high-use areas. Together with an action plan to deal with any trees that are classified as unsafe.

I have also written to the Red Cross Lifeblood service, requesting that the Town of Alice Springs be afforded a semi-regular pop-up or Mobile donation service.  This call is in light of the national blood donor callout in Sydney.

Hi everyone, yesterday the Alice springs Ratepayers Association voted to ask the Alice Springs Town Council to immediately conduct a safety audit of all trees in our Springs with a view to bringing down trees that will be potential killers during a storm!
