For 16 years, The Carevan Foundation has supported people experiencing hardship through food, compassion and connection. Now, thanks to the incredible generosity of the Luff Family, the organisation has been gifted its very first permanent home.

This EOFY, Carevan is launching its “Open the Doors” campaign to help transform the space into a fully operational community hub — complete with a commercial kitchen, essential support services, shared meals and welcoming spaces for connection and care.

Every donation will help bring the vision to life and create a place of dignity, belonging and hope for those who need it most.

Lovely recognition from Helen Haines MP for the Wodonga Squash and Racquetball Club 24hr marathon fundraiser for Carevan. What an incredible club and hope we can do it all again next year!

We received a lovely card from Helen Haines congratulating us on the 24 hour fundraiser.

Among all the fantastic action at tonight’s Southern Vale Homes Bandits Albury Wodonga clash with Illawarra, we’re proud to have our community partners bringing people together courtside for a great cause.

A big thank you to The Butcher at Arnold's Wodonga for firing up the BBQ out the front, serving up their much-loved snags and burgers, with support from keeping things fresh. Every bite tonight helps make a difference, with all proceeds going directly to The Carevan Foundation supporting people in our local community who need it most.

There’s also something extra to look forward to — The Butcher At Arnold’s are giving away $800 in meat vouchers across the evening. Keep an eye out for their signage, scan the QR code for your chance to win.

It’s shaping up to be a great night of basketball, community, and support for a meaningful cause!

Over the past few weeks, five second-year medical students from Charles Sturt University have undertaken a two-week placement with The Carevan Foundation to gain a deeper understanding of the realities faced within the community.

During their time with us, they assisted with food distribution, packed Street Care Packs for people experiencing homelessness, and supported a range of other outreach activities. It was a valuable learning experience for the students and provided much-appreciated support for our outreach efforts. 💚

A huge thank you to everyone who braved the rain and stopped by our Bunnings sausage sizzle in Wodonga today! 🌭

We served up plenty of delicious snags, raising much-needed funds to help people in our community doing it tough.

We truly appreciate everyone who came down, donated, volunteered, or simply said hello today!💚

It’s set to be a busy weekend of fundraising for The Carevan Foundation team!

Come and say hello to us tomorrow evening at the Border Bandits game at Lauren Jackson Sports Centre, then join us again on Sunday at the Bunnings Wodonga sausage sizzle.

We’d love your support — every conversation, donation, and sausage helps us continue supporting those in need within our community.
