🎉 The 2026 Australian Gymnastics Championships may have wrapped up, but we’re still celebrating some fantastic achievements from our ACT athletes! 💛💙🤸
Gymnastics ACT is incredibly proud to recognise the accomplishments of this talented Level 7 Acrobatic Gymnastics Trio from Woden Valley Gymnastics Club, who have enjoyed an exceptional first season competing at this level.
Their journey began at the GNSW State Championships, where they delivered personal best performances in both routines and achieved:
🥇 1st Overall
🥈 2nd Balance
🥉 3rd Dynamic
Representing the ACT against some of the strongest Acrobatic Gymnastics clubs and athletes in NSW, these results were an outstanding achievement and secured their place at their first-ever Level 7 Australian Championships.
The trio then proudly represented both Woden Valley Gymnastics Club and the ACT on the national stage at the 2026 Australian Gymnastics Championships. Competing against the best Level 7 trios from across Australia, they achieved:
✨ 4th Place – Balance Routine
✨ 6th Place Overall (out of 14 trios)
To compete at Nationals for the first time and finish among the top six trios in the country is an incredible accomplishment. Their success is a testament to the dedication, resilience, teamwork, and commitment they have shown throughout the season.
These results are a fantastic achievement for both Woden Valley Gymnastics Club and the broader ACT gymnastics community. They reflect the hard work of the athletes, coaches, and support network behind them, while also showcasing the talent and potential of Acrobatic Gymnastics within the ACT.

Our Canberra trampoline athletes gave it their all at the Australian Gymnastics Championships, and we couldn’t be prouder. 💙💛

Every routine reflected the countless hours of training, commitment and passion. Representing the ACT is an incredible achievement and each athlete should be proud of what they accomplished. We can’t wait to see what’s next as they continue to grow and strive for even greater success.
