This National Volunteer Week, we want to say a huge THANK YOU to all of our incredible volunteers and members.

The International Order of the Rainbow for Girls is built on service, community and kindness, and we are so proud of the dedication shown by our members who continually give up their time to support others.

Whether it’s volunteering at community events, fundraising, supporting charities, helping at functions, or simply lending a hand wherever needed our members are always willing to step up and make a difference.

To our adult volunteers and leaders, thank you for the countless hours you dedicate behind the scenes to mentor, organise, support and guide our young people. Your hard work and commitment help create opportunities, friendships and memories that last a lifetime.

Volunteers are truly the heart of our organisation, and we would be lost without every single one of you. Thank you for everything you do for our community and for our youth group. 🌈

Recently, we were able to support another community group by donating funds to help them re-purchase a sack truck after theirs was unfortunately stolen.

We know how important equipment like this is for volunteers and community groups, and we’re proud that we were able to do our part and make a difference. ❤️

When the International Order of the Rainbow Girls heard about our missing/stolen sack trucks, they didn’t hesitate. They rallied together and made sure we could replace them… and thanks to their incredible generosity, we’ve now got a brand new one ready to go 💛

These might seem like simple bits of equipment, but at Puddle Jumpers they help us move tonnes of food, donations and essentials every single week for families doing it tough.

To the amazing Rainbow Girls community, thank you. Your kindness, quick action and support means more than you know. You didn’t just replace a trolley… you helped keep our wheels turning for the thousands of people who rely on us each week.

What a fantastic turnout for our History Month Open Day for our South Australian group🏛️✨

It was wonderful to see so many people come through our doors to explore the history of our building, hear stories from the past, and learn more about the groups and community organisations that continue to use the hall today.

Thank you to everyone who attended, events like these are a great reminder of how important community spaces are, not just for preserving history, but for creating new memories and connections for future generations.

A big thank you to all of our volunteers and members who helped organise, set up and welcome visitors throughout the day!

We loved sharing our space and its history with you all and hope to see you again at future community events!

Today we celebrate the love, patience, strength and support you give every single day, often behind the scenes and without recognition. Thank you for everything you do to encourage, guide and care for the next generation.

Can you believe the school holidays are already over?

We had such a fantastic time at our recent school holiday activity ☀️

With 20 kids joining us, the day was packed with craft, games, laughter, and plenty of fun from start to finish.

Of course, the highlight for many was sharing a free pizza lunch together 🍕

These events are all about giving kids a space to make friends, try new things, and feel part of something welcoming and supportive.

We run free activities every school holidays, and we’d love to welcome even more families next time!
