It's time to have your say on how infant formula is marketed in Australia.

The Australian Government is consulting on new rules for formula marketing, and this is an important opportunity to help protect families’ ability to make informed feeding decisions free from commercial influence.

The previous MAIF Agreement (a voluntary industry code) has been found to be ineffective, and new regulation is now being considered.

ABA is encouraging parents, health professionals and community members to take part in the consultation and share their views.

Your voice can help shape policies that support breastfeeding and ensure families receive clear, unbiased information about infant feeding.

Good news — you can travel with expressed breastmilk, baby food and sterilised water when flying with your baby.

Just remember: if you’re travelling without your baby, you’ll need to follow the 100ml liquid rule and keep total carry-on liquids under 1L.
