We look to people in power for all manner of needs. Military defense, justice, economic management, and more. And even the best earthly leaders fail on some of these endeavors. Some failures arise from weakness, others from evil intentions, and still others from a lack of wisdom. But they all remind us that only God is perfect and trustworthy in all things.

PRAYER
Lord, I have seen leaders come and go. I have seen good and bad from them. But in You alone do I find steadfast faithfulness and perfection. Help me to depend on You first, and to seek Your wisdom above the words or charisma of the earthly leaders in our midst. Give me the discernment to not be deceived by empty promises or caught up in foolish endeavors, no matter how popular. In Jesus’ name, amen.🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

If you want to ask God for help, Ask him first, things that are humanly impossible. That's the kind of prayer God loves to answer because He is the God of impossibility. Don't have thirst and be disturbing God to help you drink water 💦🤨

In this world, it is easy to feel overlooked, especially when we are faced with opposition. Too often, it seems that greed and power prevail, and we are left forgotten. But we can be assured that God’s eyes are always on us, and His ears hear our every cry. We may not understand all that we endure as it is happening, but we have not been abandoned.

PRAYER
Lord, thank You for seeing my plight and hearing my cries. In a world where people desert me, step on me, and forget me, it gives me encouragement to know that You remain faithful. Please answer my cry and come alongside me so that I may feel the peace of Your presence and know that I have not been forsaken. In Jesus’ name, amen.🙏🏽🙏🏽

When Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit, they sinned against God and exposed their own shame. And though God announced the consequence of their sin, He still did not abandon them. It was God who provided clothing for them, covering their shame. For even then, His love and mercy were evident and drove His actions.

PRAYER
Lord, I thank You for Your great mercy. Even when I fail to honor You, You still show me honor. I am thankful that You are quick to forgive and that I am always near to Your mercy. Your care has protected me from many dangers. Please keep me close, Lord, so that I may never be out of Your reach. In Jesus’ name, amen.🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽

God has prepared work for all of us to do. But even as we do His work, He works alongside us and within us. For as we do His work, He brings forth a harvest as a field would produce. As we faithfully carry out our purposes, He builds us up into a structure that reveals His glory as it stands as a beacon of hope to others.

PRAYER
Lord, thank You for calling me to do Your work. Equip me to do all that You have called me to do so that as You work through me, You may use me to produce fruit, to reach others, and to encourage my brothers and sisters in Christ. Please work all of these things in me and through me for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, amen.🙏🏽🙏🏽

Some of us have near-death stories to tell- times when we narrowly and miraculously avoided a terrible fate. And as believers, all of us have a spiritual near-death story. Our sin and selfishness ultimately lead to destruction. It is only by the miraculous and unfailing mercy of God that we avoid our fate.

PRAYER
Lord, too often, and for too long, I have tried to make my own path. And every time I do, I see too late that destruction and ruin await me. Yet, in Your unfailing love, You have shown up to be my rescuer, diverting me from my destructive course. Thank You for saving me and restoring me. In Jesus’ name, amen.🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
