MIGHTY YOU EU – Partner Meeting Update

Today, we held our online partner meeting for the MIGHTY YOU EU project, bringing together partners to review progress and coordinate the next implementation steps.

During the meeting, we discussed updates from the previous period, reviewed the status of Work Package 2 (CLM), agreed on upcoming actions and deadlines, and updated the project risk register to ensure smooth and timely delivery of activities.

These regular coordination meetings help keep the partnership aligned, strengthen communication, and ensure the project continues progressing effectively toward its goals in supporting youth and tackling online challenges.

MIGHTY YOU EU – Partner Meeting Update

Today, we held an online partner meeting with project teams from Ireland, Germany, Austria, Croatia, and Spain as part of the MIGHTY YOU EU project.

We aligned on the WP2 Methodological Guidelines, establishing a shared approach to research, data collection, and the identification of good practices that will inform the Digital Inclusion Toolkit.

This marks an important step in ensuring our work on online xenophobia and digital inclusion remains coordinated, evidence-based, and firmly grounded in real youth work practice.

MIGHTY YOU EU – Partner Meeting Update

Today we held an online partner meeting with teams from Ireland 🇮🇪, Germany 🇩🇪, Austria 🇦🇹, Croatia 🇭🇷 and Spain 🇪🇸 as part of the MIGHTY YOU EU project.

Key points discussed:

▪️ Approval of minutes and brief technical updates
▪️ Updated age demographic for the project
▪️ Partner agreement status
▪️ WP1 progress – handbook development, footprint strategy, quality & evaluation, and financial/operational monitoring
▪️ Recommendations received from the funders
▪️ Planning the date and tasks for the next meeting

We continue working together on tools and activities that will support young people and youth workers in creating safer and more inclusive online spaces.

We are thrilled to announce our newest Project: Multicultural Inclusion, Growth & Hope for Thriving Youth (MIGHTY YOU EU)!

Together, we empower young people and youth workers to become inclusive, digitally-literate citizens who can stand up against online xenophobia and discrimination.

Over the next two years, we will:
• Raise awareness of how exclusion and hate affect youth in digital spaces.
• Provide training, tools, and a digital course to build skills in tackling online hate and promoting inclusion.
• Connect across Europe, creating networks and local assemblies so that voices from minority and immigrant backgrounds are heard and supported.

Kick-off meeting of the MIGHTY YOU EU project!

Today, partners from Ireland, Germany, Austria, Croatia and Spain gathered online to officially start the Erasmus+ project “Multicultural Inclusion, Growth and Hope for Thriving Youth Online (MIGHTY YOU EU)”.

The meeting, hosted by Leitrim Integrated Development Company (Ireland), focused on:
✅ welcoming partners and presenting project objectives,
✅ outlining key activities and timeframes,
✅ discussing partnership agreements and reporting procedures,
✅ setting the groundwork for Work Package 1, which will map good practices and define upcoming milestones.

MIGHTY YOU EU will empower youth workers and young people across Europe to stand up against online xenophobia through innovative learning tools, training programmes, and digital inclusion resources.

Our latest News, “Empowering Youth Workers through Digital Competence”, takes you to Zadar, where youth workers from across Europe came together to strengthen their digital skills and promote inclusion and participation.

Part of the Erasmus+ project “Developing Digital Competences of Young People based on the DigComp Framework”, the training united participants from six countries to explore how digital tools can empower youth work and support young people with fewer opportunities.

We’ve just wrapped up the training course “Developing digital competences of young people based on DigComp framework” in beautiful Zadar

Over the past days, youth workers from across Europe came together to explore the DigComp framework and strengthen their ability to support young people in building digital competences. Through non-formal education and practical activities, we learned how to design inclusive, youth-friendly workshops that make digital skills accessible for all.

Our journey focused on:
• Equipping youth workers to implement DigComp-based activities with young people with fewer opportunities.
• Exploring the 8 proficiency levels of DigComp and their integration into everyday youth work.
• Strengthening partner organisations to use digital tools in their daily activities.
• Promoting Erasmus+ opportunities and the Youthpass certificate as a recognition tool.
• Sharing knowledge through multiplier workshops in local communities.

Together, we are building stronger, more inclusive youth work practices that empower young people to thrive in the digital age!

Our project “Developing Digital Competences of Young People based on the DigComp Framework” is all about empowering youth and youth workers from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Germany, Croatia, Serbia, Montenegro, and Austria to strengthen their digital competences using the DigComp Framework

Three days of our training course for youth workers in Zadar, Croatia are already behind us and we’re excited to share a few moments !

The project “Developing digital competences of young people based on the DigComp framework” brings together youth workers from Germany, Austria, Croati , Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, and Albania to strengthen their digital skills and integrate them into youth work practices.

This initiative, supported by Erasmus+, aims to empower both young people and youth workers to thrive in the digital era through non-formal education, collaboration, and innovation.
