Today we celebrate the vision, leadership, and resilience of women around the world whose contributions strengthen our societies, our communities, and our shared future. International Women’s Day - 8 March - is a moment to honour the women who challenge boundaries, inspire progress, and open pathways for the next generation.
International Women’s Day is a moment to celebrate the strength, vision, and leadership of women everywhere - women who challenge boundaries, elevate science, and shape a more equitable world. Today, we honour the women whose dedication continues to transform global food systems and protect public health.
At the Global Harmonization Initiative, we proudly recognize the women whose expertise and dedication are shaping safer, fairer, and more sustainable food systems. Their work is essential to advancing global food safety, regulatory alignment, scientific integrity, and consumer protection.
We also celebrate the remarkable women who lead GHI, our Working Groups, and our global network of Ambassadors. While we could not include every photo, we honour all of them. Their tireless efforts - educating, advocating, coordinating, and building bridges across borders - strengthen our global community and help make harmonization a shared, achievable reality.
Their leadership reminds us that inclusive, science‑based collaboration is not only possible - it is powerful!
